PCHS is hosting an inperson Silent and LIve auction on September 30th, 2022.  There will be baskets and other items to bid on silently, items to bid on in a live auction, a food buffet and a chance to meet some of the current cats and dogs waiting for homes at the shelter.  Below is the letter we are sending out to various businesses in our community asking for their donations and support.

Dear PCHS Supporter-

When three big hound dogs were found left abandoned at a gas station, we knew we had to help. Large dogs take longer to find homes. Hound dogs, with their tendency to “sing”, take longer yet. Bella, Jacob, and Edward came to us frightened and thin, and we were unsure if they had been indoor dogs. Soon, our volunteers and staff became attached to the dogs, and all three reciprocated the attention with typical hound All three were seen by our vet, Edward was treated for a bad ear infection and then, they put up for adoption. Weeks went by with little interest but one by one, they caught the eye of their future forever families. It takes time, patience, and resources to help animals like these dogs. 

Without the financial help of our supporters, animals like Bella, Jacob, and Edward would not have their needs met or have the chance at health and a home.

There are many animals in need who come seeking sanctuary in our shelter. Last year, we were able to find loving, forever homes for over 1400 cats and dogs. We receive no government funds. We rely on fundraisers like our Fall Auction to sustain our work and open our doors to save animals in need. We hope that you will consider donating to our auction in the form of merchandise, gift certificates, services, and/or a monetary gift. To contribute a monetary gift, simply fill out the enclosed form and mail it to the shelter in the envelope provided. If you wish to donate an item or service to the auction, please contact our office via email info@pawsandclaws.org and we will assist you with your donation. 

We hope you will join us on the evening of Friday, September 30th for fun, food, and bidding!  After two long years amid the changes due to Covid, we are back with our signature, in-person charity auction. Thank you in advance for your continued generosity and support of Paws and Claws Humane Society and our life-saving work.

Not only will donating to our organization help our community, but it will also generate publicity for your business.
