The East Orange Animal Alliance will be holding its inaugural Paws for a Cause Tricky Tray on Saturday, October 14, 2023. The monies that are raised will be used to finish our play yard project at the East Orange Shelter. The final phase will include a large 29’x60′ space, which will allow the most dogs to play at once, with room for socialization. It will also provide the shelter with the opportunity to host community dog training sessions. To learn more about the Play Yard Project please visit our website. 

Our tricky tray will features plentiful items for our anticipated 100 attendees including Themed Baskets, Pet Care and Training, Gift Cards & Dining, Sports Tickets, Jewelry and so much more! Your contribution would be a great way to publicize your business, while at the same time helping at-risk animals in East Orange. Sponsor names will also be prominently displayed on the actual donation for all to see, and will be announced as the prizes are awarded. We will also highlight donors on social media, our website and via email messages to our community.

East Orange Animal Alliance’s mission is to provide resources that enable the City of East Orange to most effectively care for its at-risk animals and support the people who are dedicated to them. Our volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) organization carries out this mission by fundraising for needs above and beyond the City of East Orange Animal Shelter’s budget, increasing exposure for the shelter’s adoptable animals, funding shelter diversion programs to keep pets in homes, and connecting the shelter’s animals with adopters and rescue groups.

We hope to raise $10,000 with this new signature event.
