This is our largest annual fundraising event.  We have music, food, silent autions, raffles and guest speakers.  Last year, because of the generosity of donations and sponsorships, we were able to raise $43,000.  We expect 250-300 people this year. 

Pawsitively 4 Pink uses the funds obtained to financially assist the low income under served women we obtain through American Cancer Society, Oncology Department at local hospitals and additional resources we continue to connect with.  We recently helped.  Susan has recently been diagnosed, for the third time, with breast cancer.  And making only $9,600 a year adds additional stress to her life.  We here at P4P paid Susan's rent for 9 months along with additional financial support allowing her to focus on her treatment.  As I licensed psychotherapist I continue to stay in touch with the women for emotional support.  Susan is just one example of a women we helped.  We recently began helping Julijana who is currently going through her treatment.  After speaking with Julijana she determined that her rent was the most important thing that she would need help with.  I obtained the landlords contact information and renegotiated the terms of her rent so that P4P was able to pay Julijana’s rent. 

Pawsitively 4 Pink differentiates itself from similar organizations in three ways. We assist low-income, underserved women. Secondly, we do not discriminate if a woman elects holistic and alternative treatment. Finally, there is no other organization that provides support for up to six months after treatment has ended. This is what sets P4P apart.
