Description

Peace, Love & Craft, Craft Alliance’s biggest fundraising event of 2023, provides crucial support for all of our programming and helps to ensure that every member of our community has access to creative experiences.

The evening will include live entertainment, craft demos, an auction, far-out cocktails, and delicious cuisine, all in support of Craft Alliance and the power of craft. We're expecting a wonderful turnout of individuals passionate about the arts and community. One of the highlights of the evening will be our auction, where attendees can bid on unique items and experiences.

Contribution Benefits:

By contributing an in-kind donation for the auction, you will receive:

  • Visibility: Your name/business will be prominently displayed alongside your donated item.
  • Engagement: Connect with an audience that values arts, community, and creativity.
  • Community Impact: Your contribution will help fund vital educational and engagement programs at Craft Alliance.

Many of our programs are made possible through generous donations from our community. Thanks to your support, we are able to offer:

ArtSmarts: Students from St. Louis Public Schools visit our exhibitions on field trips, inspiring them to create their own works of art in our studios.

Crafting a Future: Teens participate in a ten-month development program in partnership with professional artists and mentors as they develop their portfolios.

Artists-in-Residence: Emerging artists join us for an eleven-month fellowship, where they engage with our students, explore their craft, and exhibit a body of work.

Youth Summer Camps: We offer day camps for area students all summer, teaching kids the fundamentals of craft in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.

Classes: Our professional faculty teach classes in metals, fiber, glass, wood, ceramics, blacksmithing, and print and paper arts.

Exhibitions: Our exhibitions feature local and nationally recognized artists and bring in the best of contemporary craft. To complement our exhibitions, we provide free, self-service activities for families and children to explore the exhibition together.

Third Friday with the Delmar Maker District:  Our gallery and studios remain open late on the Third Friday of each month for families to explore. We offer activities, refreshments, and a family-friendly, creative environment free of charge.

Free Family Saturdays:  We offer story and craft time, intergenerational programming, and other events on select Saturdays, all free for the St. Louis community.

Your support means a lot to us and the community we serve.
