Description

Dear Community Arts Supporter,

We at The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) are excited to announce our upcoming annual PERFORM-A-THON, a benefit event for the NEMPAC Tuition Assistance program and educational programming, to be held on Saturday, April 6th at the Boston Public Market, and to be live streamed to the public! This is a five-hour-long free community event filled with performances by our students and faculty, performer prizes, and raffles!

NEMPAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community music school and professional performing arts center operating out of the North End, Charlestown, and surrounding neighborhoods in the City of Boston! Our mission continues to prove more important than ever: to ensure high-quality music education and performing arts programs accessible to ALL. NEMPAC enriches lives through accessible, exceptional music education and performing arts programs that embrace our vibrant, inclusive, and diverse communities. In 2023, we awarded over $20,000 in financial aid to over 35 students. Your participation in this year's Perform-a-thon and “Pledge Me” campaign will make a difference and help us to ensure every child has equal access to music and arts education.

Our goal for this year’s Perform-a-thon is to raise $20,000 to support the high increase in demand for programming and tuition assistance we’ve seen this year! Students that sign up to perform will collect pledges from their family, friends, and community members to support NEMPAC's mission. We would love to have your support in our raffle this year by donating an item to be included in our raffle packages.

Last year’s event surpassed all goals by raising over $20,100. With your help, I’m sure we can make this year another successful year! If you are interested in contributing in any way, we would greatly appreciate it.

Please let me know if you are able to support us or would like additional information about this event or NEMPAC.

Best Regards,

Allie Carufel
