The Alzheimer Society Niagara Foundation is hosting its 31st Annual Alzheimer Golf Classic at beautiful Legends on the Niagara on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. The tournament is dedicated to the memory of the late Chief Executive Officer and has raised more than $956,000, with proceeds directed to improving the quality of life for people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as their care partners, living in the Niagara Region.

The past 2 years have been very difficult for the families we serve. The effects of isolation and loneliness can have severe negative impacts on the health of seniors and caregivers. People living with dementia were more isolated than ever and depended on The Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region. We are so excited as we start back to our in-person programs and services!

Currently, there are 11,099 people in Niagara who are experiencing a progressive dementia, the most common of which is Alzheimer’s disease.  All funds raised from this event support the programs and services of the Alzheimer Society in your community.

With a great turn out of participants, generous support from our many sponsors and donations of great items for our live and silent auctions, this event raises approximately $50,000 in net revenue.  As a valued partner, you will be appropriately recognized at the event and help us hit the million dollar mark this year!
