Description

On Saturday, October 7th, 2023, the Pheasants for Hospitalized Veterans Committee will hold our annual Pheasants for Hospitalized Veterans silent and live auction. We will gather with community members, friends, and family for an evening of great food, drinks, and games to raise much needed funds for our hospitalized veterans. Local businesses will be showcased in our live and silent auctions.

Please consider a donation to our event this year. We think you’ll agree our auction evening is a great opportunity to highlight your business service or goods and reach 300+ potential new customers! All donations will also be noted with your personal or business name in our event program.

Approximately 1,850 hospitalized veterans will enjoy a meal of pheasant, wild rice and all the trimmings. Dinners are served at 9 veteran hospitals and homes across the state. Funds raised are also used for improving the living conditions in the different hospitals and homes along with supporting activities such as Trolling for Troops, Disabled Veterans Deer and Turkey Hunts, and Venison Dinners. With the generous help of our community of local donors, we can continue to provide the funds needed to ensure our veteran’s needs are met and that they are remembered for their sacrifices to our country.

Your donation is greatly appreciated and will help make our auction exciting and fun for all. Donations are tax-deductible as the law permits.

The Owatonna auction is the number one fundraiser for this statewide event. Our committee is made up of Owatonna VFW Post and Auxiliary Members and Owatonna American Legion Post and Auxiliary Members.
