Description

Since 2009, Philly Leather Pride has supported local charitable organizations that provide direct services, teach, promote or preserve the History of the LGBTQIA+ communities. We are incredibly passionate about our community, and this event will play a vital role in enabling us to continue making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Before I provide you with the details of our upcoming event, I wanted to share a little about last year's fundraiser. Thanks to the support of donors like you, we were able to make a significant impact in our community by being able to provide $6,000 to our 2022 beneficiaries: Project Home,  The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice, and The Animal Welfare Association. Your donations truly make a difference.

Now, we are gearing up for another remarkable event, scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at The Palmyra, in Palmyra, NJ. This year's event will consist of 5 rounds of bingo, raffle baskets, and a live auction.

We would be thrilled to have your esteemed support for this year’s Philly Leather Pride. Your donation will not only demonstrate your dedication to social responsibility but also provide invaluable assistance in helping us achieve our fundraising target of $10,000. The funds raised will go to the following charity beneficiaries:

Project HOME - The Gloria Casarez Residence is the sixth project of the Middleton Partnership, which includes 30 one-bedroom units of affordable housing targeted to young adults (age 18-23 at entry) who are homeless, have experienced homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness (including those aging out of foster care), and will be LBGTQ-friendly.  Residents benefit from a combination of housing, employment, education, and healthcare-related services, in addition to case management, life skills, and community-building activities.

AIDS Fund Philly - “Since our founding, we have been committed to fighting the HIV epidemic until this crisis is over.  Advances in treatment and new prevention strategies have now made “Getting to Zero” – zero stigma, zero new infections, and zero deaths – an achievable goal! The focus of all of our programs is to help achieve this goal.   Our From All Walks of Life Fund supports the most vulnerable people living with HIV through financial assistance grants during times of crisis.  Our annual back-to-school and holiday toy drives support HIV infected/affected youth.  Our public awareness and education efforts are designed to combat the stigmas associated with HIV, and to raise awareness and educate the community about the newest prevention strategies, including PrEP (pre-exposure prophylactics), PEP (post exposure prophylactics), TasP (treatment as prevention) and the advances in the care and treatment of HIV. Our signature events, AIDS Walk Philly, GayBINGO, and Black-Tie GayBINGO draw attention to the continuing epidemic and raise critical funds to support our efforts.”

As a donor, your brand will receive prominent recognition and visibility throughout the event. This will ensure that your company gains significant exposure to our diverse audience.
