The purpose of the banquet is to recognize, honor individuals who have breast cancer or have survived it, while raising awareness by educating and empowering their network of friends, family and supporters.

A cancer diagnosis cannot only turn one emotionally upside down but adversely affect self-image and confidence due to treatment. There are so many unwelcome physical changes that result when battling breast cancer, both during treatment and afterwards.

Our goal is threefold: First is to provide emotional and financial support and resources to patients and their families who are dealing with the challenges that inevitably accompany a breast cancer diagnosis. In addition, we seek to increase awareness about the disease and encourage early detection through community outreach events which highlight the importance of regular self- examinations and annual mammograms.  Finally, we seek to partner with the community to raise funds to support breast cancer research in search of a cure.
