Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. (RBARI) is the leading no-kill animal shelter in Northern New Jersey dedicated to second chances by providing safe refuge and essential medical and behavioral care and finding new forever homes to New Jersey’s homeless and abused dogs and cats while focusing on animals with the greatest need. RBARI is committed to those often rejected, including seniors; urgent medical cases; and surrenders. RBARI regularly pulls from local animal control facilities, thus placing an emphasis on “local first" allowing them to impact the rate of euthanasia as well as reduce the homeless population. RBARI also supports the community by assisting in animal welfare emergencies and working with partner organizations to provide low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for communities in need. RBARI also offers trap, neuter, and release programs to help stem overpopulation and stop the cycle of homelessness and abuse too many animals suffer. RBARI is a volunteer run organization that needs continued support in their mission from within our community to provide for these animals!

Holiday Bowl also located in Oakland, NJ is a proud supporter to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc as our staff proudly dedicates many hours to organizing and promoting an annual bowling fundraiser in support of local shelters and is excited to support RBARI with this year’s Pins For Paws event.  This event is geared toward raising much needed funds for the volunteer-run organization to support and continue their mission, obtain supplies to care for the animals that come through their doors daily, and provide a fun night out for volunteers, friends and family, patrons and the local community members to come together all for a good cause, win some prizes and have a fun night out!

The Annual Pins for Paws Bowling Fundraiser and Basket Raffle is scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Holiday Bowl, 29 Spruce Street in Oakland NJ from 7pm to 10pm. All proceeds earned from this event will solely benefit the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge in Oakland, New Jersey! We will also be running a collection drive of shelter supplies/wish list items the night of the event.

As chairperson/coordinator of this event, we are requesting the support of your organization in receiving items for the basket raffles or monetary contributions that will directly benefit the RBARI mission through the proceeds of the success of this event.  All organizations and donors that support Pins for Paws will be prominently noted in the event program and social media for the event.  If your organization would prefer to provide a monetary donation rather than a raffle/basket item in your name, please make checks payable to Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc.  A copy of the event program can be provided upon request via email following the donation deadline. The deadline for donations to be included in the program is Tuesday, July 30th, 2024.
