Description
Margaret's Village will have a cocktail party, 6:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. with live music, at which we will have an awards program. Four people who are champions for social justice, like our founder was, will be honored. The organization's director will speak, and an MC will conduct a "Fund-the- Mission." There will be a live silent auction of 1-3 prizes, and raffles of 5-7 prizes. We expect 150 people.
Margaret's Village has been housing homeless families in Chicago since 1989. The agency operates two 50-bed sites which enable the transformation of lives as families are supported on their journey to independence. More info. is at Margaretsvillage.org.
