On Thursday August 15th, 2024 we will be hosting the 3rd annual Play for Your Heart Charity Golf Tournament in support of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. With $55,000 raised to date for the institute, we are looking forward to working with various businesses again this year and continuing to support a cause that helps so many people around the country!

The Heart Institute operates Canada’s largest comprehensive cardiac prevention and rehabilitation program and cares for more than 100,000 patient each year, many of which who come from across Canada! With physical inactivity being an independent risk factor that has a significant impact on numerous chronic conditions, especially cardiovascular disease, we are so excited to partner with local businesses and residents to work towards our goal of $30,000 raised this year. The smallest increases in physical activity at any age have been proven to slow down disease development and progression, ultimately reducing chronic conditions by 20% to 50%, so if that is not reason enough to participate, we hope raising money for this wonderful institute will be!
