We offer at least 60 prizes for each raffle that have been donated by businesses.  Our raffle is a bit different in that the first person drawn gets pick of anything on the prize list and so on down the line.  Our thought is that everyone should win something of value to themselves.  We sell raffle tickets by soliciting in person, on-line, at events that we work, and at the public open house at our facility on the day of the raffle drawing.  We expect approximately 150 to 200 attendees at the open house; and, have many more supporters through our on-line presence.  Every dollar earned goes directly to the foods and medications that are required for the care of our animals.  Our goal is to raise over $5000.00 this year.  Our drawing is scheduled for December 4, 2022 and we will begin the ticket sales at a 2-day festival that we will be working to promote ourselves and our event.  This festival is October 8 & 9th.  We accept prizes and update the prize list up until November 15, 2022.  Each donor's logo will appear on our sponsor page of the website for one year.  Our website is https://www.possumwoodacres.org/.
