As a favorite of so many Whitman families, we are writing to ask you to make a ticket donation to Walt Whitman High School PTSA’s Post Prom this year.  Post Prom at Whitman is an alcohol and drug-free event and provides a fun and safe alternative to after-prom parties. 
 
This year our Post Prom is Vikes World Tour 2022, and will be held on Saturday, May 6th, from 1:00 am to 4:30 am.  Post Prom was created over 20 years ago by a local woman as an alternative to dangerous drinking parties which have resulted in tragedy in the past.  In addition to providing a variety of activities, entertainment and food, we keep the students safely engaged at the event by raffling fantastic free prizes all evening.
 
Since the event is free to seniors and their dates, and is funded entirely by Whitman parents and the generous support of our community, we hope your organization will consider donating.  This is a great opportunity to help keep students safe on prom night.
