Since 2012, the Rhythmix Performance, Art & Learning program has served more than 60,000 elementary students - many from underserved, low income Title 1 schools - with free cultural arts assemblies that expose students to the performing arts, diverse ethnicities, traditions and local artists. The event theme is Cheers to 15 Years! and will feature a wide range of wineries, breweries and local eateries at our venue in Alameda.  

Celebrate Rhythmix Cultural Works’ 15th Anniversary at the Pour Your HeART Out Benefit for Youth Arts, featuring delectable food, wine, beer, cocktails and an outdoor dance party with music by SambaDá.

 *All proceeds support the Rhythmix Performance, Art, & Learning (PAL) arts education program, serving over 60,000 K-5 students with multicultural assemblies since 2012.

 This year, there are 2 ways to participate:

 1) VIP Celebration: 2:00 – 3:30 – Join us for a Pre-Party VIP Reception. All food and drink is included in your ticket price featuring libations from Clos Pegase, Dashe Cellars, Sierra Nevada, Connoisseur’s Guide to California Wines and more. PLUS: Mouthwatering morsels provided by Alameda Natural Grocery, Café Jolie, C’era Una Volta, Julie’s Coffee & Tea Garden and Planted Foods.  Mixing contemporary sounds with the roots of Brazilian culture, SambaDá musically unites the Americas, in a funky fusion of percussion-based styles of South and Central America. SambaDá brings a magical, joyful approach to each performance and keeps their fans dancing throughout.

 Brazilian natives Papiba Godinho and Dandha da Hora seamlessly blend their profound knowledge and respect for the roots of Afro-Brazilian song and dance with the band’s unique style of samba-reggae-funk to create a universal sound.
