Embrace hope with us. Thanks to generous donors, sponsors, and community heroes like you, Wingspan Life Resources raised nearly $100,000 for our virtual Power of Love gala last June!  We are reaching out to ask for a silent auction donation (which may be in the form of a gift card or basket).  This year our Power of Love luncheon will take place on Tuesday, June 7th at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley.  We’ll open our online auction two weeks ahead (you’ll have lots of recognition), and our event attracts viewers from coast-to-coast. Now celebrating 49 years, we’ll share compelling stories about the people we serve and the programs we offer.

What difference will you make? Funds raised will support transportation needs for handicap accessible vehicles that need to be replaced in our aging fleet, and accessibility needs such as ramps, wheel-chair friendly flooring, and roll-in showers.  Funds will also support our programming to help us improve physical, cognitive, emotional and social wellbeing of those we serve—including those with traumatic brain injury, dementia, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, Down’s syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, schizophrenia and many other challenges. Your gift will mean the world to all of us.

Wingspan’s mission is “To inspire community by empowering people impacted by disabilities to live their best life.” We operate 29 group homes for adults with developmental and other disabilities in the greater Twin Cities area, an In-Home program for those living with family or independently.
