Annual Power of the Purse Auction Ladies Night Out ! We are excited to announce that the event will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Campus Center of Zane State College. The evening will start at 4:30 p.m. with our Bag Lady Boulevard event, games of chance, and silent auction. Enjoy a delicious meal from Theo’s Restaurant in Cambridge to be served at 5:30 p.m. We will also have gluten free options so PLEASE let us know if you need one. The live auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. The auction and dinner are exclusively for ladies only. We need your help to make our 15th Year our most impactful year ever!
In 2019, you helped us raise over $50,000 !! We are completely SOLD OUT for 2022!! Who will benefit from this event? Muskingum County is who!! We have selected Habitat for Humanity, Christs Table, The Fieldhouse Foundation, Eastside Community Ministry, and The Community Cares fund by the MCCF.
We will also be issuing 5 (five), $1,000 “Do it for Mick” scholarships to Muskingum County high school seniors who concentrate on community service, athletics and support of his / her school beginning in 2023. Mick Amicone spread his support through athletics, commitment to his community, and his love of youth. We are delighted to honor him and keep his family doing “Mick” things as most people in our community have benefited from them in some fashion whether they realize it or not.
YOU can help us achieve our goal with a donation of a new purse or incentive. You can drop off your used purse donation at Habitat for Humanity ReStore or The Fieldhouse at the Sunrise Center, Peoples Bank on Maple Ave, The Community Bank on the West Pike, or Park National Bank on Maysville Pike at 719. You may also choose to donate something for the silent auction. If you would like to donate but not sure what kind of purse or incentive, we can help with a personal shopper. Just give us a call and we can work together. Donations can be dropped off at Peoples Bank located at 3108 Maple Avenue, QCP at 33 South 5th Street. Thank you in advance your generous donation.
