Dear Community Partner

The fundraising committee at Ascension Lutheran Preschool in Torrance, California is preparing for their fourth annual silent auction.  The theme for this year’s event is “Preschool Hoedown”.  This will be a fun family event for all ages.  The goal of the event is to provide the opportunity for parents to gather with their children at a fun, casual event outside of the school day, and to raise funds via basket raffles, door prizes, and silent auction items.

The purpose of this letter is to request a donation from your organization in support of this event, which will be held on our campus June 19, 2020.  Any donation of product or services from your business would be greatly appreciated.  We are in need of specialty items (both large and small), gift cards, gift certificates, and tickets that can be used to enhance our silent auction baskets and raffle.  Your donation is tax deductible (Tax ID#95-2119024) and all proceeds will go to enhance our preschool program.

Our business sponsors will be recognized throughout the event via promotion of the auction items and a list of sponsors will be included in our weekly newsletter, on our Facebook page, and on our electronic street side marquee.

Donations can be mailed directly to Ascension Lutheran Preschool at the address above, or if you are a local business we would be happy to come and pick up items per your instructions.  You may also email donations to shellymadrigal@ascensiontorrance.org
