To whom it may concern,

As employees of Dallas Park and Recreation Department – Recreation Services Division – We exist to serve as stewards of our facility and open spaces, and we find it extremely valuable to unify the surrounding local community. 

Preschool Takes Over the North Pole is an annual event we have at Lake Highlands North Recreation Center that began one year ago. This winter event caters to families with babies and toddlers. We host preschool programs year-round, giving the little ones a chance to socialize and use their motor skills. On Thursday, December 15, 2022, we will be hosting this event with activities such as crafts, story time, and bounce houses.

We are asking for in-kind donations of 4 tickets to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags over Texas in Arlington. This will be part of the raffle prize for the parents in attendance. Ticket sales will go to fund our recreation programs that are offered at a subsidized cost.
