Description
Carol Doane attended more than one college before she finished her degree: a couple of community colleges, a year in Europe at the University of Vienna in Vienna, Austria, and she graduated cum laude from a private college in Oregon – Linfield College. She holds two majors, one in Piano Performance and the other in German. With those two promising degrees in hand, she eagerly (or errantly) jumped into a career in advertising. She’s worked at The Columbian, KGW-TV, and now at The Oregonian/OregonLive.
How did a career in advertising lead Carol to start a nonprofit that provides college scholarships for women? Find out Wednesday at Friends Eating and Studying Together (FEAST).
