Dear Friend of ECHS,
We are writing to you on behalf of Early College High School PTSA which is a part of Texas PTA. Our volunteers work hard to achieve Texas PTA’s
vision to make every child’s potential a reality through our mission to be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families &
communities and a strong voice for the education and well-being of every child. Since our formation in 2017, our team of parent, teacher &
student volunteers has been hosting community programs and events to help our school community become a spotlight of educational excellence
in Round Rock Independent School District. Our PTSA supports RRISD’s Early College High School (ECHS). The ECHS campus-learning model
guides students through an advanced curriculum at the high school and college level while providing additional resources needed to develop
themselves as well-rounded individuals. Through a partnership with Austin Community College (ACC), students are given the tools to succeed
while immersed in a higher education experience, beginning their freshman year of high school and ending with an associate’s degree or up to 60
hours of college credit.
We are currently planning our nationwide, online fundraising auction, “Presents & PJ’s” in December 2023 that will hopefully allow us to increase
our support of additional programs on campus such as field trips and guest speakers. This online auction is our largest fundraiser and directly
supports the approximately 380 students on our campus. All funds raised will go to the ECHS PTSA general fund to support Programs for the
ECHS Community, Hospitality events, Grants, Scholarships and Project Graduation. We are the only organization on campus that financially assists
with the funding of the above events. That is why we are asking for your help. With your resources and the investment your business has already
made in our community, together we could make an incredible difference.
Would you be willing to donate an in-kind donation to help us achieve our goal? We’d be happy to provide recognition on our website, social
media, and electronic communications regarding our event in exchange to show how much we appreciate this. If you would like to support us in
this endeavor, please do not hesitate to contact us via email with any questions. In-kind donations can be mailed to our PO Box or our physical
address or we can have a volunteer pick up local items.
