El Dorado Christian School is hosting their annual spring banquet, Preserve the Vision - Remembering the Past. Forming our Future., on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 5pm at the Church of God (Holiness) Family Life Center.  We are excited to welcome our guest speaker, the Missouri Secretary of State, Jay Ashcroft. We will also be keeping up the tradition of honoring those who laid the foundation of the school forty years ago. 

This event helps to keep tuition costs down, honor the school's history, and revive the vision for Christian education in our community. Our goal is to raise $60,000, and with the help of Jesus Christ, we can reach it and even beyond. The verse that the Lord has placed on the hearts of the PTO Leadership Team is Colossians 2:7, “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” Another verse that they loved was 1 Corinthians 3:11, “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

The banquet theme is a French garden party.  At the banquet, they are going to have a digital auction with around 50 items and a delicious dinner.  The dinner will be brisket, scalloped potatoes, garlic green beans, salad, and a variety of fruity desserts.
