We hope this email finds you well.  I am reaching out on behalf of the Events For A Cause group, and we are putting together our annual Prom Do-Over event to benefit the Josette Beddell Memorial Foundation (JBMF).  As a part of this planning committee, we are excited to support the Foundation to help better the lives of families in Northeast Ohio affected by cancer.

Members of our planning group have seen the hardships caused by cancers to their own families and friends, as well as experienced the effects of breast cancer firsthand.  To raise funds for JBMF, we are organizing the 4th annual Prom Do-Over on October 1st at Michaud’s Event Center in Strongsville.  In the past, our events have been well attended and we anticipate an even bigger crowd this year with the lessening of some pandemic-related restrictions.  

During our fundraiser, we also hold a raffle for gift baskets valued at $300 or more and will be incorporating a special prize wheel.  I am writing to ask if the company would be willing to donate a full gift basket, or any gift in-kind to be featured in our prizes.  We know that it would be a big hit with our attendees as most are locals and would benefit from checking out different businesses in the Northeast Ohio area!  As thanks for your kind donation, we will feature your logo on our social media announcements, on banners at the event, and our emcee will mention your company's name during the Prom Do-Over event.
