On behalf of CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties, I am submitting this letter requesting an auction item donation to support 2024 fundraising events to benefit the children of CASA. These events include our Promise of Hope: Champions of CASA event on April 26th at the CPKC Stadium and our Hops & Barley event on October 4th at The Mint (Lenexa). The proceeds from these events are crucial to our ability to provide trained volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children in foster care.

Since 1985, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) has provided a meaningful voice and connection that instills hope and builds resilience for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. We fulfill our mission by recruiting, training, and supervising community volunteers. Our CASA volunteers are appointed by judges of the juvenile courts in Johnson & Wyandotte Counties to advocate for the best interests of children and youth in the foster care system.
