PS 116 is located at 210 East 33rd Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues and serves Kips Bay, Murray Hill and Midtown East. You have probably noticed us if you walk near our schoolyard during morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up. In fact, PS 116 is a neighborhood fixture that has served elementary students since 1943.

The PS 116 community is truly unique. We serve a population of 400 students who hail from a diversity of backgrounds and in fact, all over the world, with kids from 29 different countries across 5 continents. We strive to instill a love of learning in all our students through our community values of kindness, perseverance, and support for one another. For example, our community came together to assist our asylum-seeking families to ensure that all kids come to school ready to learn.

Auctions are a critical fundraising tool for many New York City schools and PS 116 is no exception. Our Spring auction is our most important fundraiser of the year. The PTA of PS 116 works hard to provide additional funds for programs that are not covered by the Department of Education. PTA fundraising pays for arts programs, school supplies, building improvements, teaching assistants and more.

We are currently seeking sponsors and donations for this event that will be held on April 11th, 2024. Being an auction supporter is a great way to promote your business. Our families enthusiastically patronize businesses that contribute to PS 116.

Donations can be gift certificates, merchandise, tickets, services, or unique experiences. Creativity is encouraged! We are looking for auction items at all price points.
