Description

First responder public safety members are facing challenges today as never before. The toll of the job is exacting and goes far beyond the physical demands. PSPSA was founded upon the unshakeable belief that there is help available in the form of peer support. Peer Support Programs operate on a volunteer basis, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They function because members are willing to help other department personnel in a time of need.

On October 14, 2024, we are hosting our annual golf tournament for PSPSA, and the annual conference takes place thereafter. The conference provides 800+ attendees with a unique opportunity to learn from and engage with other members of the first responder community, the majority of which are peer support members. Attendees gain new tools they can use to build and sustain the resilience needed in their professions, allowing them to care for themselves and serve at the highest capacity.

Funds raised during an opportunity drawing at the golf tournament and a silent auction at during the conference will be used to support continued training opportunities for members of the public safety community.
