I am writing on behalf of Straydog.org, a no-kill dog shelter and sanctuary, to request your
support for our 2019 3rd Annual Straydog Soiree, “Pups and Pearls”. This is a very special
event to raise money for the everyday care of the animals. The gala will be held on Saturday,
April 6, 2019, at Wolf Gang Puck in Union Station .
The Gala will provide support so that Straydog is able to care for the 160 rescues that reside
at our campus and for whom we provide “A Forever Home” either through a vetted adoption
process or at our sanctuary. The operational cost for caregiving, food, shelter, maintenance
and vet care is budgeted at $1,000,000 a year.
This is the third year of hosting a Gala and the attendance is estimated to be 400 plus. We
hope to raise $225,000 or more to support the care and services for these rescues that are
so very much needed .
We would be very appreciative if you would join us in supporting this much overlooked
cause by being a sponsor and/or providing a donation gift for our live or silent
auction. Your wonderful gift will be a great addition to our live or silent auction and certainly
increase the amount we raise, in addition to bringing awareness to your business.
