Description

On April 5, 2024 Irving Elementary School will host its annual event and silent auction. Each year more than 500 students and their families attend this fun event. The kids have a blast dancing the night away with their classmates, families, and teachers.
It’s also a great opportunity to raise funds for our school with a silent auction. Parents bid on themed classroom baskets donated by students and their families as well as donations from individuals and businesses within our
community and the greater Des Moines area. The money raised from this auction goes right back into our classrooms at
Irving: home of 458 students and a year-round calendar program. EVERY child at our school benefits from the generosity
of our donors. Proceeds help to enhance the learning materials in each classroom.
There is a very captive audience at our event. Families spend over two hours looking at our baskets/donations,
so it’s a great opportunity to promote your business! This event would not be possible without the loyal support and
contributions from individuals, organizations, and local businesses.
