Dear Fellow Animal Lover,

I am writing on behalf of AnimaLovers, a capital district non-profit cat rescue organization specializing in rescuing abused,
unwanted, and abandoned cats. AnimaLovers has been serving the community since 1995. We are a No Kill rescue and have
saved over 10,000 cats! We never discriminate based on health, age, or breed. Our cats are examined, vaccinated,
spayed/neutered, and receive all medical treatment necessary before being placed in carefully screened homes.

It has been a tough year for both AnimaLovers and the volunteers that work tirelessly within the rescue community. Between
hoarding cases, sick cats abandoned by their owners, and an outbreak of distemper (parvo) virus across the region’s cat
colonies, AnimaLovers is facing the highest emergency vet bills of our last 27 years.

To allow us to continue our essential work, we are holding a fundraising gala! “Purrs & Pearls” will be on Thursday, Nov 2nd,
from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Glennpeter Jewelers in Glenmont. There will be raffles and silent auctions for fantastic goods,
services, and gift cards donated by our generous supporters. Our gala in 2019 was a huge success, and we hope this year
