The Los Angeles Zoo Chapter is proud to host the American Association of Zoo Keepers' (AAZK) Bowling for Rhinos conservation fundraiser by holding a mini golf experience! Since 1990, AAZK has raised over $9 million through Bowling for Rhinos fundraisers, with your Los Angeles chapter raising almost $500,000! Proceeds go to supporting three rhino sanctuaries in Indonesia, Sumatra and Kenya, while also raising community participation with Action for Cheetahs in Kenya. Because Bowling for Rhinos is all volunteer based, 100% of all event proceeds and online donations are sent directly to their in-situ rhino conservation areas!
