Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter is the 501(c)(3) fundraising partner of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter, which is a county run municipal shelter. Friends provides lifesaving medical care, dental care, parasite prevention, and more to the pets at the Fairfax County Animal Shelter with the help of our generous community. Last year, we were able to raise over $52,000 through our fall golf tournament fundraiser alone, and this year we hope to exceed that. Typically, we have between 120-160 golfers attend our annual golf tournament. Donations will be acknowledged through our silent auction online platform that is shared with over 4,000 constituents via email and over 10,000 constituents on Facebook.
