The YMCA of Orange County is partnering with the Coachella Valley Foster Kids organization to bring 100 children who are currently in the foster care system to Camp Oakes Overnight Camp with us for one week in August 2025.  Our Camp Oakes volunteer director and counselor team is working to raise $20,000 to subsidize the $350 per foster child that will not be covered by the state, so these campers can join us at no cost.  Overnight summer camp is an invaluable experience for any child, but particularly for children with unstable or challenging home lives. The summer camp experience allows children the opportunity to disconnect from technology and connect with nature and each other while learning, growing, and playing.

We are hosting a "Quiz for a Cause" trivia event on June 28th at Left Coast Brewing Distillery Smokehouse in Irvine where we will have a silent auction and raffle.  The event will host 90+ community members.  We would greatly appreciate your support in the form of an in-kind donation to be included in our silent auction.  Donors will be listed as an event sponsor on our event webpage, in our program, and be announced as a sponsor when announcing auction winners.  Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
