On Saturday evening, May 7, 2022, Beth Israel will celebrate a very meaningful milestone at our annual fundraiser: Rabbi Cantor Arlene Bernstein’s 25th Anniversary at Beth Israel. Plans are underway for a very special celebration.

In these unprecedented times, your support will help us to raise much-needed funds to sustain Beth Israel’s schools, programs and services. Founded in 1861, Beth Israel is the oldest synagogue in the San Diego community with a dynamic congregation of over 1,100 families. Many of our members have deep roots in San Diego and play vital roles in business, finance, real estate, academia and the arts. Countless knowledgeable and committed members are active and influential in a variety of local civic organizations.
