My name is Hannah Velcoff, and I am reaching out to you today on behalf of the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta. The Furniture Bank's mission is to create stability for families and individuals by distributing donated furniture to turn their houses into homes. The Furniture Bank's vision is that every family have the furniture they need. Every year, 5,000 people in need come to us for furniture. 3,000 of those people are children who don't have a bed to sleep on. And every year, we've been able to make that happen with the support of the community. 
  
Our annual Race for Rest 5k presented by Monday Night Brewing is coming up on October 26th. Last year's race had a field of 500 runners, and we're expecting even more this year! This year, we are expecting around 550 runners and 50 spectators.

By supporting the Furniture Bank, you will receive recognition on our website (70,000 sessions annually), listing in our newsletter (25,000 recipients), and recognition on our social media platforms (5,300 followers). Most importantly, you will be helping the Furniture Bank provide essential household furniture to individuals and families moving out of homelessness and fleeing domestic violence.
