R.A.G.E. (Rising Against God's Enemy) is an Annual Four Day Youth Conference.  Starting with three days of interaction between the youth and conference leaders.  Culminating on the fourth day with an outdoor event that is fun and exciting, such as a trip to Magic Mountain, Knotts Berry Farm, etc.  The conference directly deals with issues youth face today and how to handle them, such as bullying, using social media and peer pressure amongst other topics.  This conference is to build Godly character in our youth and it is fun. Many of the youth bring friends, family members and other youth from their neighborhoods/schools and all participation is voluntary.  Parents and Guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend and support their youth while attending.  The attendees range in age from 4 years old to 21 years old with topics and breakout groups that are age appropriate to their level of comprehension.  The conference starts on a Wednesday night and is held on Thursday and Friday night as well for approximately three hours each night.  There will be sessions done that are similar to "TED Talks" also sessions called "Tackle The Text" where a scripture is interpreted and made relevent to the world today and there will also be a skit.  Saturday, the last day of the conference is an early start day, approximately 9am, where everyone gets to relax and enjoy themselves all day at an outdoor venue. Throughout the conference food is served for a small donation and we like to provide each participant with a R.A.G.E. Conference T-Shirt as well as "Goodie Bags" and treats every night.  We've even had the opportunity to supply them with backpacks one year filled with lots of school necessities. It is our desire to have chartered transportation to and from the Saturday outing. We would also like to cover the cost of admission for the outing for our youth conference participants, whether that be through monetary donations or donation of amusement park tickets.  This youth conference is awesome and our youth look forward to it every year.  Even during the Pandemic, the youth were asking about the R.A.G.E. Conference and we did not want to let them down.  So over the past two years it has been done as a significantly scaled back version virtually via Zoom.  The R.A.G.E. Conference leaders are Youth Pastors (Pastor Taylor, age 30 and Pastor Kris, age 28) who can really relate well with the attendees. They are supported by a staff of volunteers to make sure the event is a successs.  We are really looking forward to an amazing turnout this year.
