Raise 11 Gala is being held on June 3, 2022 at the Brooklyn Children's Museum.  we expect over 350 people to attend. Now in its 14th year, the auction is our largest fundraiser and supports numerous arts
and STEM programs. This year we are highlighting our extensive music program. Music begins
early at PS 11 with a djembe drumming program for Prek and Kindergarten students. Every
second-grade student learns to play the violin and third through fifth grade students have the
opportunity to participate in one of 9 different bands or orchestral ensembles. Advanced
students also have an opportunity to work with the NY Philharmonic Very Young Composer
Program. In 2018, a PS 11 student in this program had their work performed by the NY
Philharmonic during one of their summer concerts in Central Park. These opportunities are
made possible by the generous support of the families and friends of PS 11. We hope you will
partner with us to help keep our music program at our school and continue its powerful role in
our students’ interdisciplinary success.
