Raise a Glass is the annual fall fundraiser for Raise Your Hand, a parent-led public education advocacy organization. This year, we will honor parent organizers whose essential work is rooted in deep love and community care. This joyous event will honor the lasting impact of these public education advocates, and feature a silent auction. The overall fundraising goal is $48,000.

Raise Your Hand engages, informs, and empowers parents to protect and strengthen public education for all children in Chicago and Illinois, eliminate inequities in public schools, and work at the grassroots for the public good that is public education. Your support allows us to continue to inform and organize parents around systemic issues in education (special education, school funding, local school councils). 

The event and auction will be promoted for twelve days, throughout our social media platforms and multiple times in our email newsletter. Promotions will reach 150 event attendees, 6000+ subscribers to our email newsletter, 1,400+ Instagram followers, 13,400+ Twitter followers, 6,200+ Facebook followers, and our 8,700+ member Facebook group. Auction contributors will also be included in the event slideshow and printed program book.
