To Whom This May Concern,

The Reed Intermediate School PTA is organizing a Kindness Campaign Fundraiser for January 27th through February 13th 2025.  Our students will be asking for donations from their family and friends with a promise to pay it forward by completing Acts of Kindness at home, at school, and in their community.  Our school has over 580 students and is only 5th and 6th graders. While the students will earn prizes for their fundraising accomplishments, we really want their focus to be on the number of Acts of Kindness they complete. We want to show that Kindness Matters and every person, big or small, can have an impact on those around them.  During the Kindness Fundraiser, students will be raising funds for us to be able to provide exciting moments for our students, such as assemblies, family events, author visits, educational adventures, and more!  

 
Kindness acts will range from inviting a student to play at recess, helping an elderly neighbor, volunteering at the local animal shelter, writing Thank You letters, donating food to the local food pantry, picking up trash in the neighborhood, to doing a chore at home without being asked. We want our students to sprinkle kindness everywhere they go! Can you imagine the impact almost 600 students could make in 3 weeks just by spreading kindness?
