Description
The Race to Read Family Walk is a weeklong event that allows familes with younger children to walk along a pathway and read two different stories, one as they walk the path in one direction and the other as they walk in the other direction. The pages of the book will be on displays pushed into the ground along the pathway and would be available for families from April 23 to May 1 with a kickoff event on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Roe Park in Overland Park, Kan. We will include entertainment with a DJ, prize giveaways and other activities for the kids as well as snacks.
