Each year the Easthampton Public Library sponsors fun and educational Summer Reading Programs for everyone! Our children’s and teen programs are designed to increase Summer Reading to help prevent summer learning loss and to motivate kids and teens to not only read, but to engage with their community and try new things.

Designed for all ages, our summer reading program this year will feature the idea of conservation. Conservation as a movement focuses on protecting species from extinction, maintaining and restoring habitats, enhancing ecosystem services, and protecting biological diversity. iREAD 2024: Read, Renew, Repeat makes for a wonderfully diversified summer reading program that encourages reading as a restorative method of self-improvement and self-preservation.
