I currently teach at Alta Vista Continuation High School, a Title 1 school, which serves low income minority students in grades 10-12. This alternative community high school helps 200 students to acquire their diploma after they have left the traditional high school system. Because of this, I implemented different ways to meet and enhance these students' learning experiences in order to celebrate their achievements.
