Description

To Whom It May Concern:

The Reagan Educational Center Special Education Programs have come together for our 3rd Annual Fundraiser Dinner and Auction.  This year the dinner and Auction will take place on Saturday, February 10th at Rodeo Grounds in Old Town Clovis.  Events that evening will include a social hour at 6 pm, dinner at 7 pm, and a live acution at 8:30 pm.  This is our third year hosting the event independently and we are looking forward to growing it in the future.  The sole purpose of this fundraiser is to give back a percentage of the proceeds from the dinner and auction the Clovis Unified Special Education classes and programs that choose to participate in the event.

Together, as the Reagan Educational Center, it is important to provide a family-like atmosphere.  Our goal is to allow equal opportunities for all students in our district.  The current demands of technology and specialized equipment for special education students are expanding.  Often, the faculty and staff take it upon themselves to help the studnets in need within our respective programs.  The proceeds from this event provide each student/class with the opportunity to grow in ways not provided by public education.

Our students look forward to being constantly challenged with a variety of new experiences, work, play, and exercise items.  Students who are not able to talk with their voice are now using Voice Output Communication Devices.  Special Education students, who have never attended a Prom, are now able to attend with full funds provided by their schools.  Families that thought their son/daughter would never graduate are now ordering graduation announcments to invite guests to watch their children graduate with certificates.  These donations allow us to contine to create a positive learning environment for all our students.  Our programs are very grateful for the collaboration we have received from Clovis Unified School District and our community.

If you are willing and able to donate, we do have a tax ID number available upon request.  Together with your continued support of purchasing tickets, donating items for our auction, and/or donating financial gifts, you become a partner in the educational growth of our studnets with special needs.  If you are interested in ecoming a sponsor for the event and what that would entail, please contact me directly.  We appreciate and thank you for your continued support.
