RECESS! is an “un-gala” style event which allows adults the opportunity to “return to the playground” for an exciting evening of schoolyard fun, live music, cafeteria-inspired gourmet food, and nostalgic games, with a raffle and silent auction supporting our vital work. We have opportunities to attend the event or become a sponsor and are looking for in-kind donations to help us create unique “Experience Packages” for donors. This event helps Dallas Afterschool ensure access to affordable, safe, engaging, and qualified after school care for over 17,000 underprivileged children throughout Dallas County.
