On February 22, 2018, FoodShare Toronto hosts Recipe for Change, an unforgettable evening of fine food, wine and beer, at the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto. 

Built upon the success of the first event in 2010 and gathering momentum over the next few years, last year’s Recipe for Change featured 30 outstanding chefs and a creative feast that garnered more sponsor and media attention than ever before – it’s a foodie favourite! Recipe for Change 2018 is guaranteed to be a success this coming winter. From the venue itself to the commitment of all of the chefs, Recipe for Change is a celebration of food with a purpose, supporting FoodShare’s innovative work toward Good Healthy Food for All, food education, and healthy meals in schools. Our ticket prices deliberately strike a perfect balance to raise funds while providing a nice opportunity to splurge, and attract a full spectrum of demographics you will not find at other events. We anticipate  500 attendees to participate in our 2018 event.                                                                                                                                                                                     Donations of highest value will be posted on the Recipe for Change website receiving over 10,000 online hits, circulated to FoodShare’s more than 16,000 followers on Facebook and Twitter, and be prominently displayed at the event and in the program.
