Did you know April is National Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention month? Join us on 4.27.24 for Chattahoochee CASA's “The Red Shoe Party," a fundraising event themed around Dorothy’s ruby red slippers in the Wizard of Oz because for our children in foster care, there truly is "No Place like Home."  

This event is designed to be a party with a purpose helping to raise money and awareness for Chattahoochee CASA so that our community volunteers have the training and support to continue advocating for our most vulnerable neighbors. All proceeds benefit Chattahoochee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), a program of Twin Cedars Youth and Family Services, Inc.

Why CASA?

Chattahoochee CASA recruits, trains, and supervises Volunteers who provide advocacy informing the court of the best interest for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. In 2022, CASA Volunteers were appointed to 216 children and their families in our area, but over 200 children are still waiting to be appointed a CASA volunteer.
