Opening day is the festival for the first day of softball season.  All the Redwood City Girls Softball League teams are dressed up and have a ceremony to start the softball season.  The Hit-a-Thon helps pay for field usage fees, team equipment, training aids, uniforms, field improvements, clinics, umpires, and more!  Winners of Hit-a-Thon prizes are announced at Opening Day the following week.  If there is interest in distributing products, then the Opening Day Ceremony is the best time for this.
