REEL is an after-school film program for high school students in the SF Bay Area of California. REEL allows students from diverse backgrounds to produce their own short films as a production crew. In addition, we provide our students with hands-on experiences by visiting local Bay Area production studios. 

We are writing to ask for a sponsorship from your organization in the form of in-kind donations we can provide to our students and supporters during our annual REEL Film Fest on May 26th, 2024 at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland. At this event we will bring together 140 our students, their families and our local film community to screen the films they made and would love to be able to giveaway prizes from local businesses to celebrate our students’ accomplishments. We strongly believe that this sponsorship will not only allow for a successful culminating event for our students but will allow them to feel connected to other creators and businesses that value their unique voices and viewpoints.
