I am emailing from the sponsorships department of Relay For Life at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute, a Toronto high school. We would like to enquire if Canada's Wonderland would be able to support our project in the form of providing money to be used for rewards and food on Relay Day.

Relay for Life is a fair-like fundraising event that is hosted at various locations across North America. A team of students, including myself, is organizing a Relay for Life event at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute in collaboration with the Canadian Cancer Society, in which we expect about 200 people will participate. This will be a multi-day event where participants will work in teams to compete in fun and engaging activities that encourage cooperation and teamwork. Participants will be encouraged to donate to the event and all proceeds will go towards cancer research and cancer prevention initiatives. Over the last two years, Relay at MGCI has had over 300 participants, raising a total of $10,000 for cancer research. We hope to double these numbers, with our fundraising goal for this year being $25,000.

Our long-term target is and will always be to offer the best day out possible for everyone while supporting cancer research to the fullest of our capability. Support from external sponsors is crucial towards achieving our goal, so any assistance would be appreciated greatly. 

We offer many different incentives and rewards for your contributions, such as Instagram posts on our account of over 500 engaged followers, sponsorship recognition, Live Q&As, as well as opportunities for your company to be integrated into our opening and closing ceremonies.
