Relay for Life at Virginia Tech is a powerful and meaningful event that brings our community together to honor those affected by cancer, remember those we've lost, and support the ongoing fight to find a cure. By participating, donors will be directly contributing to groundbreaking cancer research, patient support programs, and cancer prevention efforts that are crucial in the battle against this disease. This event is more than just fundraising—it's about creating an atmosphere of hope, strength, and unity. The energy of our Virginia Tech community fuels this night of celebration, inspiration, and remembrance, where we come together to support survivors and caregivers, raise awareness, and make a lasting impact. Whether you choose to donate, form a team, volunteer, or walk in honor of a loved one, your involvement will help fund the vital research and programs needed to save lives. Every dollar counts, and every participant makes a difference. Together, we can bring hope to the thousands of individuals battling cancer and continue to work toward a world without cancer. Last year, with the help of our community and other supporters, we were able to attract over 1,500 participants and collectively raise over $176,000. It was an incredible opportunity, and we are so thankful that we had the resources to help. Located on the Drillfield in Blacksburg, VA, we hold multiple ceremonies to honor those who have passed from cancer, celebrate those who have triumphed, and energize those still battling, all while offering food, games, and entertainment for everyone. It is an event for the community to unite to battle this vicious disease.
