Relay for Life is a Fundraising Event for the American Cancer Society.  We form teams and have their team mates and friends take turns walking the track for 13 continuous hours.  We are walking in the footsteps of Cancer Patients who do not have a choice to stop fighting.  They have to wake up everyday and continue the fight and treatments in order to live.  So, we get together and fundraise at our Team Booths around a Football Field/Track and Honor those in the fight, those in remission and Remember those who have lost the battle to Cancer.  We bring Cancer Awareness to our Community and join together as one in making new relationships, bonds and support for one in another in the years to come.  This event is Free to the Public and Family Friendly.  We have music, entertainment and fund and prizes.  We also hold a Luminaria Ceremony to honor those in the fight, those who are in remission and to Remember loved ones we have lost to this horrible disease.

Our event is funded by local businesses that offer their support as a sponsor.  We also ask local businesses for donations of snacks, water, drinks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  To also include items for our Goody Bags that we provide to our Survivors and Caregivers.  It is only through community unity that this event can be successful.

We hope to have your support and to see you on the Track on April 13th from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Claremont High School, in the City of Claremont.

Thank you!
